Oh man there is just not enough time for everying. Not enough!! So why am I wasting time, writing this? Letting off some steam is a justified, short tiny little break right?

Random stuff:

-A visiting artist in one of my classes today reminded me of why I hate the art world sometimes. Usually. A lot. These people think they're so great and important, and the dude makes works that are piles of sugar on the ground. And paintings using fly puke. He gets a bunch of flies, traps them with nets near a canvas, and provides them sugar-water dyed with watercolors. And the results are fly-puke paintings. I mean they acutally come out sorta neat. But God, to listen to him go on about it was... and my teacher was so into it, saying he was one of the greatest artists in LA right now... and he also bought cardboard signs from homeless people (y'know like, "Veteran will work for food" or whatever) for like 3-10 bucks, and sold them at galleries for about $100 each. What.

Even leaving the rest, that last bit just makes me so angry somehow.

-It's happened; I'm an Avatard. But seriously, I started watching it after my dad began watching it of his own accord, and really liked it. He's a funny guy. We like cartoons in my family, I guess. I mean, I can understand where the haters are coming from but seriously I don't see any point in being a snob about it. If it were animated in a different style you guys would have given it a chance, I'm sure.

-I'm so tired. So very tired.

-日本語はどんどんむずかしくなったね。最近私は、ちょっと気がおもいが、もうがんばっているよ。Japanese keeps getting harder and harder. I've been a bit depressed lately, but I keep trying anyway.
